New Queen Margaret Academy Nears its Completion!

A new state-of-the-art school in Ayr is nearing its completion and young people across South Ayrshire will be able to benefit from it. The building of Queen Margaret Academy is a £25 million project and the school will be opening its doors this month having been part funded by South Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government and will have space for 800 pupils. The school is intended to improve learning and teaching as well as transform facilities for the local community.

The new school has been built on the existing school site and once completed the old school building will be demolished. As with most modern buildings this one is no different. Not doing so can compromise the aesthetics of the building and the users experience.
