Window cleaning at the New Queen Margaret Academy
New Queen Margaret Academy Nears its Completion!
The new school has been built on the existing school site and once completed the old school building will be demolished. Now that the building work is in its final stages and as we provide window cleaning in Glasgow and the surrounding area, Edinburghclean.co.uk was asked to clean the windows of the new building in time for the official opening and handover to staff and pupils.
As with most modern buildings this one is no different. It is glass intensive and understandably so as glass is one of the most versatile materials that can be used in construction, but for glass to look its best it must be kept clean both externally and internally. Not doing so can compromise the aesthetics of the building and the users experience. Likewise, no new project is complete until the entire building has been cleaned and cleaning the windows of any new building is an essential aspect of this as window cleaning can highlight issues such as render on the glass.
For any jobs that involve window cleaning in Glasgow and the surrounding area, Edinburghclean.co.uk have all the necessary equipment to do a thorough and professional job and this one was no different. To access all the windows of the school building we were able to use our MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform). This enabled us to give the windows a comprehensive clean as well as identify and remove any render that was on the windows.
If you have a new building that requires window cleaning in Glasgow and the surrounding area, contact Edinburghclean.co.uk. We can work to strict handover deadlines as we did with this new build. For your reassurance we hold full IPAF certification.
